Yesterday my granite installer did the template for my  new counters.  Hopefully, they’ll be here, along with my new appliances and sink, in a week.  I’m very excited about everything.  Once those are in, I can install the copper backsplash behind the cooktop and call this project done.

Of course, I still have plenty of other things to keep me busy.  I have a powder room with hideous floral wallpaper, a faux-oak vanity, and vinyl flooring. That’s next on the list.

I also have a guest bath with a lame floral wallpaper border and some more faux-oak cabinets which need painting.  When you own a home that’s almost 20 years old, there’s always something which needs to be updated.  Heck, by the time I finish everything which currently needs fixing, it’ll probably be time to update the very first project again.  It’s truly a never-ending cycle.
